“Don’t Let Safety Slip Through Your Tracks”
The day was to start out as any other normal cold day in January. But at 7:00 AM in the morning the day changed. An operator was tracking a 70,000 pound excavator down a small snowy and ice sloped hill when the excavator tracks broke free and slid uncontrollable off the side of the hill flipping over and landing on the operator’s cab. Luckily the operator escaped with not a scratch on him but the machine was damaged beyond repair and the job shutdown. The machine was not fitted with TrackGrips which could have prevented the incident.
